Default What offset for awd magna

I would like to know what can fit on an awd magna.

I'm looking at getting a set of 18's in either 8 or 8.5 width.

What offset is ideal for these sizes, considering I'm looking to go lower than stock, and I don't want to do excessive guard mods (if any at all).

    Thanks for all your help.

+35 is probably the maximum, but most go for +38 to 40 with OEM being +46
I'm on 19x8.5 +35, lowered with no guard mods or scrubbing.......yet.

Dragging up an old thread, but I'm wanting to know if the offset for FWD is the same as AWD. What sizes/offsets to you guys run for 18's on a FWD? I'm looking to go pretty low, but don't want to scrub.

Same. If any, the AWDs has less room to play with at the back due to having a thicker upper control arm.

On my AWD - I'm running 18x8 rims + 35 offset with 245/40 18 Goodyears. Fits under the guards (In the front - just, rears no problems), and that's with 30mm lowered all the way around.

I ran +42 offset with 225/50R17 no problem. I think that the 380 17" wheels are +46 same as Ralliart Enkeis and AWD stock 16" wheels. Just watch the centre bore size (needs to be 67.1mm, from memory, or larger) and the tyre load rating if going over the pits (a lot of 225/50R17 tyres are 94 load rated, which is a bummer when your tyre placard says minimum 95 load rating )

Well it's obvious then that if I go to Dickso/ Hume ACT pits that the tyre will have to had an adequate load rating. Then it's the game of letting them fail you for something and coming back, this is obvious vs trying to pass first try. 6-8 weeks ago I got a NSW Blueslip for my parents undriven Corolla (MY1999, 112,000km) for close to 2 years just with 2 front tyres. It was passed with Chinese Radars...
